Welcome to my Star Ocean Obsession. Star Ocean 2 is possibly the biggest obsession I have. The game by Tri-Ace is one of the best RPGs I have ever played. Sure, the graphics aren't all that good, but the story and the replay value offset the crappy graphics.

The game evolved into an anime, Star Ocean EX. I managed to get my hands on a copy that was subbed by a fan group and I loved it.

All in all, my favorite good characters have to be Dias Flac and Rena Lanford. I don't much like Claude Kenni though and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's just the blue hair that Rena and Dias share.

However, I absolutely love Gabriel/Indalecio and Lucifer/Cyril as the bad guys. I always thought that maybe they should have expanded more on the Ten Sages. Maybe had an indication of who you were up against before it occurred in Eluria. I would have loved to see more of the red headed Gabriel and the silver haired Lucifer.

I will be putting up faqs and eventually a walkthrough for Rena's story for the game. Unfortunately, no screen shots of the game will be here, but I will post links to sites that do have them. There's not many sites out there, so if you know one, please email me.

I am a fanfic writer, so I will eventually be writing Star Ocean stories and I can guarantee that the majority will be Dias/Rena stories if there is going to be a romantic turn to them.
